Attention, Citizens: Your Comments Have Now Been Sanitized For Your Protection 

Because various Commie mutant comment spammers have been polluting the pristine posts on the Paranoia blog, we have now upgraded from the antiquated SnorComments system to the new and more perfect Blogger comments. The migration process required multiple man-hours of diligent High Programmer labor; older archives were moved to a new folder, so that the old comments system could be preserved for them (since Blogger has no facility for importing comments from other schemes), the template was changed to reflect this, and then all pre-November posts were deleted from Blogger's system (since otherwise it would create new archives that would not list the older comments). The lengthy duration of the task was necessitated by the fact that Blogger only allows you to delete posts one at a time, and there have been 200+ since this Paranoia blog began. Older archived posts will continue to use the old system; all posts henceforth will use the new one.

Citizens will note that posting comments now requires you to input text displayed in one of those goofy Capcha graphics; yes, this is a pain (and impossible if you are blind and having the blog auto-read to you), but we all must make sacrifices to remain diligent in the face of treason. Give thanks for the Computer's bounteous regard for your well-being and safety.

That CAPTCHA graphic is really hard to read! Another reason to hate spammers....
